Most Anticipated Games of 2020

2020 has been quite a year! No matter if you are a gamer on the PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, or PC, we share five of the most anticipated games for the year. 

 

Cyberpunk 2077

 

This upcoming role-playing video game was developed by CD Project. It is going to be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation, and Xbox. Cyberpunk 2077 is based on a series of video-games from the Cyberpunk.

 

It is a first-person perspective game where the player sets out on a series of missions. Completed quests gain the player experience points, which then unlock certain weapons.

 

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

 

Spider-Man: Miles Morales, is an upcoming action-adventure game that was developed by Insomniac Games. This game is only going to be available on the soon to be released PlayStation 5. 

 

The game is a continuation of the Spider-man franchise, which focuses on the character, Miles Morales which is mysteriously bitten by a genetically modified spider. The game focuses on Miles defending his city, Harlem, from gangs and crime lords. The original Spider-man, Peter Parker makes an appearance in Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

 

Breath of the Wild 2

 

The predecessor of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 was initially released in 2017. Nintendo developed this action-adventure video game and it is going to be available for play on all Nintendo platforms. 

 

Like previous Zelda games, the player's goal was to explore the kingdom and complete quests. One thing that players of the Zelda franchise can continue to enjoy is the ability to continuously have multiple alternatives to completing a quest.

 

Final Fantasy VII Remake

 

Continuing the Final Fantasy franchise is Final Fantasy VII Remake. The game is being released for PlayStation consoles where players can expect a mix of real-time action and strategy paired into one. 

 

The Final Fantasy Remake games have been one of PlayStations' major successes, as in the first three days of one of the launches, over 3.5 million copies were sold.

 

Halo Infinite

 

For those who prefer the first-person perspective, Halo Infinite is set to launch in 2020. It continues the Halo franchise as the sixth chapter. Halo Infinite is set to be released on Microsoft Windows and the Xbox One and X series. Halo Infinite is set in the Halo ring while following on previous story-lines from the Halo franchises.
